ZOO ART SHOW PARIS LA DÉFENSE spans 5 floors and over 4,000 square meters at number 4 of the “Maison de La Défense,” an iconic office building on the Parvis de La Défense designed by architect Henri La Fonta. The venue encompasses Calder’s monumental sculpture (“Red Spider”), facing the Metro/RER exit and Les Quatre Temps shopping center, situated between the CNIT and Tour Cœur Défense, at the foot of the Grande Arche.
LA DÉFENSE
Just 10 minutes from central Paris, La Défense is Europe’s largest business district—and much more: iconic architecture, a public trail of monumental artworks, excellent accessibility, one of the continent’s largest shopping and leisure hubs, and outstanding dining and hotel options.
FAQ
How long did the project take?
9 months of preparation to find the building and secure funding, followed by 8 weeks to produce the show.
When did it open?
It opened on June 7, 2025.
Is it a temporary project?
Yes. As of now, the closure of ZOO ART SHOW PARIS LA DÉFENSE is scheduled for June 28, 2026.
What will happen to the artworks?
Upon closure, movable works will be returned, and in situ works will be destroyed.
Is this our first pop-up museum?
No, ZOO ART SHOW has existed since 2018 and has already welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors in Lyon.
Are we an association?
No, we are an artists’ collective combined with a production company.
